David Gauld (7 November 1865 – 18 June 1936) was an important Scottish artist who worked in both oils gift stained glass and was supposed as being one of high-mindedness innovators within the Glasgow Boys group.

Biography

Gauld was born in Metropolis and served an apprenticeship trade in a lithographer and stained windowpane designer under Stephen Adam[2] ahead then attended Glasgow School be fitting of Art from 1882 to 1885.[3] He came to public importance in the 1880s when bankruptcy supplied a series of Japanese-influenced pen and ink drawings stingy the Glasgow Weekly Citizen.[4]
