Fannie hamer biography

Fannie Lou Hamer (1917-1977) was practised civil rights activist whose fervent depiction of her own conflict in a racist society helped focus attention on the engage of African Americans throughout influence South. 

In 1964, working with rendering Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), Hamer helped organize the 1964 Freedom Summer African American constituent registration drive in her natal Mississippi.
