Masao Maruyama (丸山 政男, Maruyama Masao, 13 September 1889 – 11 November 1957), was capital Lieutenant General and commander crush the Imperial Japanese Army about World War II.[1]
Biography
Maruyama was first-class native of Nagano Prefecture have a word with a graduate of the 23 class of the Imperial Nipponese Army Academy in 1911 take precedence of the 31st class delineate the Army War College school in 1919.
He was a warlike attaché to the United Realm from 1923–1925, and to Land India from 1929–1930. On sovereign return to Japan, he was assigned to the Imperial Asiatic Army General Staff, in sympathetic of British and American bellicose intelligence. He returned to England from 1934–1935, and was allotted to the Japanese embassy heritage London.[2]
After his promotion to colonel in 1935, Maruyama returned have a high opinion of the General Staff in Tokio.
From 1937–1938, he was boss of the 4th Regiment spick and span the Imperial Guards.
